ASTM 316L 304 304L SS Strip 300 Series Precision Stainless Steel Strip
300 Series stainless steels are classified as austenitic, and are hardenable only by cold working methods. These grades of stainless have chromium (approx. 18 to 30%) and nickel (approx. 6 to 20%) as their major alloying additions.
The 300 series is used for the nomenclature of austenitic stainless steels. It is a combination of carbon, chromium, nickel and molybdenum. The 300 series stainless steel grades offer a variety of properties for a wide variety of uses. It exhibits impressive corrosion resistance, strength and impressive resistance at high temperatures.
